    As part of our group global social responsibility and philanthropic commitment, we endow percentage of our profit to Homeland International Inc to assist them in their endeavors of social and community housing and mixed used development ventures to play a social responsibility and catalyst role to improve quality of life in communities.

    (visit www.homelandinternationalinc.org) was established as A Canadian Federally Registered Charitable Organization in 1999 to undertake local and global Community Housing and Mixed Use Development Projects with communities, countries and corporations to address the affordable housing needs of individuals and families through prudent and sound management to create employment, economic prosperity, safe environment, provide education opportunity and social sustainability

    Housing is a concern for all. People with secure safe housing create stable safe neighborhoods and communities. That's why, HOMELAND housing programs aren't not meant for just helping individuals - they're meant to help the whole community. HOMELAND has a vision to promote improvements in the range, delivery and quality of housing, and quality of living conditions. HOMELAND strongly believes in the concept that the above factors are all interlinked with the income, financial, economic and monetary condition of a person. In light of this it plans to develop different charitable and philanthropic housing programs to improve these conditions and meet the needs of the communities it serves.

    Homeland International Inc Practice and Approach:

    • HOMELAND welcomes Community development projects to create housing and Mixed Used facilities with various stakeholders to create social and economic opportunities.
    • HOMELAND as a Charity will acquire existing housing and mixed development projects to improve social and economic viability components for the communities.
    • HOMELAND under its charitable mandate will provide incubation project management to create self sustaining models to design, develop, build and operate Community development projects.
    • HOMELAND will offer free practical training program to volunteers, interns, professional individuals and retired executives with future job and employment opportunities under its charitable program. As an equal opportunity provider encourage participation from minorities, women and handicap candidates
    • HOMELAND will offer better than market based compensation package to professional executives with revenue sharing to self–start and head projects by writing business plans, grant documents and funding proposals. [ Top ]
    UN Global Compact

    Our company’s social mandate is once again underlined by its association with UN Global Compact (www.globalcompact.com), an initiative that brings companies together with UN agencies, labor and civil society to support universal environmental and social principles. IBC is one of the few Canadian companies registered under this program. Through allocation of percentage of our profits from our real estate projects and business ventures, the company will get involved in projects already active or it will initiate new projects under the UN Global Compact umbrella.     Sustainable Green Technology

    IBC is committed to develop sustainable projects by using the most advanced green technologies available on the market. Our customers are becoming more conscious about the advantages a “green” or a LEED qualified building can bring not only to their life style, but also to the environment. IBC is cultivating relationships with engineering firms and architects experienced in developing self sustainable projects through the use of green technologies. IBC has invested in this sector part of its investment as long-term undertaking.

    UNACTO

    Our founder Mr. Firoz Shroff was President of United Nations Association of Canada Toronto UNACTO until 2006 and now serves as Director of the Board. He was elected as Chairman of UNACTO Pro Team Committee to revive the branch which was suspended in 2005. Prior to that he was mentor to the President and board members. Our group subsidiaries continue to provide resources including financial support, contributions and donations to UNACTO. Mr. Shroff was also Idea Sponsor, Founding member and first Vice President before he migrated to Canada of UNAP United Nations Association Pakistan which he helped to re-established after 40 years of absence. As social responsible group we are active in assisting to establish new country based UNA chapters as part of our philanthropic endeavors. We also mentor various non-profit organizations to blend commerce and philanthropy under social entrepreneurship program and provide social dollars to achieve their objectives. [ Top ]

    Education – Tulane University

    Our founder Mr. Firoz Shroff as social entrepreneur through Homeland and Social Entrepreneurship Consortium Inc, Social Entrepreneurship Fund and Social Entrepreneurship Resource Bank plc supported by Sasi Foundation, endowed internship programs for MBA students at Tulane University through Professor Peter Ricchiuti, Dr. John B.Elstrott JR and Ms. Lina Alfieri Stern, Associate Director at Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship, A. B. Freeman School of Business McAlister Drive, Suite 401,Tulane University, New Orleans, LA 70118. The Social Entrepreneurship Program was virtually managed by him and his associate Mr. Dave Nuttall from Texas. Both of whom have committed to coach MBA graduates to diagnose intrinsic assets in public listed companies and than develop corporate structure taking into account both commercial and philanthropic needs of the stakeholder applying their Social entrepreneurship processes, methods and applications to create values for all stake holders.
