MMM was established in 1952 and incorporated in 1957 as Marshall Macklin Monaghan Limited (MMM). MMM provide responsive and innovative consulting engineering, planning, project management, surveying and commissioning services to private sector owners, architects, contractors, investors and government clients across Canada and internationally.

Sixty-two Partners, 40 Associate-Partners and 161 Associates share in the overall management of a practice that currently numbers over 1,100 personnel, of whom more than one-third are licensed professional engineers or scientists. Each Partner serves in a senior role responsible for management of one of the firm's areas of service or corporate affairs.

MMM is recognized as an industry leader in the provision of quality, cost-effective and technically excellent multidisciplinary engineering solutions for a diverse range of assignments. The ability to provide a continuum of services in-house including planning, project management and structural, mechanical, electrical, transportation, traffic, municipal, landscape and environmental engineering design, and contract administration services - offers clients the synergies and efficiencies of a single-source/single point of responsibility, multidisciplinary team. MMM is also a leader in alternate project delivery methods including structuring integrated design/build teams and public-private partnerships (P3s) and providing comprehensive project and program management services for large infrastructure projects. Over the past decade, the firm has applied its expertise in the private development of infrastructure to implement major airport projects in many countries and is now expanding its application to the development of major institutional building, port, municipal services and transportation infrastructure projects.
